Teaching electrical installations and machines for boats and railway systems, combining theory with hands-on practice on motors, generators, and control and power circuits in real installations.
The work includes analysing electrical schematics, assembling and wiring systems, and diagnosing faults in training setups that replicate real operating conditions. Special attention is given to safe operation, correct selection of components, and understanding how electrical machines behave under load and during start-up, braking, and fault scenarios.
PhD Researcher - Robot Manipulation & Grasping
September 2023 - October 2024
My research work focused on robotic manipulation tasks involving everyday and industrial objects, analysing how robots perceive object properties, select grasp points, and adapt their actions during interaction.
I worked with manipulation scenarios that required dealing with object variability, contact uncertainty, and task constraints, studying how perception and control need to be tightly coupled to achieve stable and reliable grasps.
Computer Vision and Eye Tracking Intern

Worked on the development of a gaze-based interface for a robotic wheelchair, using eye-tracking and computer vision techniques. Implemented software modules to control wheelchair motion and seat configuration based on 3D gaze direction and voluntary eye blinks.
Contributed to image acquisition and processing pipelines, reference frame transformations, and object detection using YOLOv5, enabling the identification of objects of interest from the user’s gaze. Also explored gaze estimation without a graphical interface, using pupil detection, calibration data, and a regression model.
Industrial Management Intern - E-commerce
February 2021 - June 2021
Worked on an e-commerce operations project, researching and supporting the export of large product datasets to an ERP system (Odoo).
I participated in data organization, system integration analysis, and operational workflows, gaining exposure to real business constraints, data consistency, and cross-functional problem-solving.
